In this article, I’ll share with you the inspiring story of one of my clients who used book writing to emerge from personal health issues, and ultimately became a healing coach.  Through her journey, we’ll explore the many ways that writing can lead to healing, growth, and excellence in oneself through newfound confidence. One of my clients, Sarah had a chronic health condition that left her feeling lost and alone.  She struggled to come to terms with her diagnosis and often felt like no one understood what she was going through.  During one of our coaching sessions, I shared with Sarah how writing books had helped me heal through the broken shoulder journey, the debt I had accumulated, and paying off the debt.  I encouraged her to write her book. Sarah knew she had a story to tell, and she decided to write about her experiences. At first, it was difficult for her to put her thoughts and feelings into words. She had a lot of anger and frustration, and writing seemed like a daunting task. But she persisted, and as she wrote, she made sense of her situation. Through writing, Sarah processed the difficult emotions that came with her health issues. By putting her thoughts and feelings into words, she explored her experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Writing allowed her to express her emotions more clearly and in a way that felt authentic to her. As Sarah continued to write, she gained a fresh perspective on her situation. By examining her experiences from different angles, she gained a more nuanced understanding of what she was going through. Writing allowed her to see her situation in a new light and helped her gain a greater sense of clarity and focus. She felt empowered as she expressed herself authentically through her writing. Writing gave her a newfound sense of confidence in her abilities, allowing her to take control of her story and find her voice in a way that she hadn’t been able to before.
